Northern Ghana
Where we work
We work in rural communities across 3 districts of northern Ghana, where safe water can be a long walk away.
The communities we serve
Rural villages, far from safe water
In much of rural northern Ghana, the nearest safe water can be hours away on foot. That walk usually falls to women and children, and the water at the end of it is not always clean.
A well in the village changes the day. Children go to school instead of fetching water. Families drink water that will not make them ill. We now work across 3 districts, and we reach about 96,000 people.

Honest photos
The work, up close
These are stock photographs for now. We will replace them with photos of your own wells and communities as soon as you send them.

There are more communities on our list. Your gift moves the next well from a plan to a working pump.
